Spring Bunch Easel Card

…then I will send rain on your land in its season,
both autumn and SPRING rains, so that you may gather in
your grain, new wine and olive oil.
Deuteronomy 11 : 14

Welcome to Digi Desserts Fridaze in connection with My Paper Crafting !    We, on the Design Team, are to create a project using a Digital File from the vast selection at MyPaperCrafting.com every Friday, share them with You and encourage You to visit over there, get the FREE Digi File for today, make a project with it and link it for all to see.  The ‘winning’ designer is highlighted next week as a Guest Designer!   It’s an easy and fun thing to do on the weekend!

For this week’s project I used the Free File offered last week on Digi Desserts Fridaze.  It’s the ‘Spring Bunch ds’ and comes in several color choices.  I used the original color file for this card and have printed several more of this one and several of the other choices to make other cards in the near future.  I really like the file and have ideas to use it various ways.  I used the ‘Decorative Oval Frame Set cf’ for the shape of the Easel Card and tied the pieces together with a ribbon and folded a baking piece to make the easel.  Here is my card –

*  This closed view shows the bow that ties the 2 pieces together at the top.  I added a pearl-head 'stickpin' to the bow on the front.  (Ellen at KittieKraft has a great videos on making tiny bows on her site - http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kittiekraft/ribbon-tying-tutorials.html  - along with many other tutorials!)
*  This shows the front propped on 3 Gems.
*  I love this sentiment that I found several years ago and have used often - because the last word is my last name - and I do love flowers!  I typed it in Word using several fonts and printed it in two colors.
*  This is the view from the back of the card -

Here are the files I used -
