'Cookie Lee Jewelry' Christmas Gift Exchange Items!

As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their GIFTS into the temple treasury.
He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins.
“Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others.
All these people gave their GIFTS out of their wealth;
but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”
Luke 21 : 1 – 4

This is merely a reminder that it may not be a lavish gift that we give to someone, but a small ‘gift of the heart,’ if that’s all that we have to offer.  Hopefully, the recipient will see that and accept graciously.  Something to remember at this Gift-giving Holiday Season…of Christmas – as we remember the Greatest Gift we have been given - JESUS!

A while ago, I made a set of Clipboards for me to use in my Cookie Lee Jewelry business when I am at Parties and Events – one large one to hold the Order Form tablet and a smaller one to hold the Guest/Opportunity tablet.   I have enjoyed using them and when it was time for our Cookie Lee Christmas Party last week, I decided to make a set – with some additional items – for the Gift Exchange Game.

Here is the set I made for myself – (Link to my post is:   http://aneleganttouch-lynden.blogspot.com/2013/06/my-cookie-lee-jewelry-clipboards.html  )  I have actually discovered that by Google-ing  ‘Cookie Lee logo/images’ My Set is shown!!  What a surprise to see that!  Perhaps this New set will end up there, also!

Here is the New Set – and other accessories – that I made last week –

Large Clipboard

Small Clipboard and Opportunity/Info pad

Clipboards - Before!
I first painted the clipboards with Gray paint.  I made my own designs from online images of the New Cookie Lee Logo and optional backgrounds in my SCAL3 program and cut them with my Silhouette CAMEO.  I adhered all of the elements with my ‘homemade Mod-Podge’ – letting it dry between each of several coats.

Memo pad Cover

Memo pad - inside
I made the MemoPad cover and the ‘Thank You’ cards using the ‘negative designs’ from what I cut for the clipboards, adding the words cut with my SCAL3 and CAMEO, using the same font as the logo and then enhancing them with a few ‘gems.’

4 Thank You cards -
I purchased a small file box at Michaels (On Sale! -) that had the ‘Cookie Lee colors’ and stood the elements in it - propped with 'Snow' batting!  I wrapped it in Pink sparkly paper and fashioned a Silver-gray Bow – adding a Silver ornament on it.  It was a fun project to do – (My ‘widow’s mite’ at this time…) – and it seemed to go over well at the game!  (My Director’s husband ‘snagged it’ for her!)  8-]

Merry Christmas, Everyone!!  8-]   - and a Blessed New Year 2014 to You and Yours!!
