Flower Girl Birthday Wishes

Look how the wild FLOWERS grow:
they don't work or make clothes for themselves.
But I tell you that not even King Solomon with all his wealth
had clothes as beautiful as one of these FLOWERS.

Welcome to Digi Desserts Fridaze in connection with My Paper Crafting !    We, on the Design Team, are to create a project using a Digital File from the vast selection at MyPaperCrafting.com every Friday, share them with You and encourage You to visit over there, get the FREE Digi File for today, make a project with it and link it for all to see.  The ‘winning’ designer is highlighted next week as a Guest Designer!   It’s an easy and fun thing to do on the weekend!

For this week’s project I made a Birthday Card using the Free Digi from last week – ‘Flower Girl ds’ .   I also used a Color Inspiration chart with this project.  I didn’t have the exact colors on it, but used the closest ones I had which matched the printed copy of the Flower Girl.  Here are photos of them.

Here is the card  -

*  The card base is sage parchment cardstock.  I made an Easel-type card, which can stand propped open.
 *  I put the digital file into my Perfect Free program and used the Dreamland action on it, which just softened the effect a bit.  I printed the file on white cardstock in PSE 10.  I cut a frame to fit around it in light orange cardstock.  I made a Shadow (SCAL3/Silhouette CAMEO) and cut it from light yellow cardstock.

 *  I punched leaves and ‘pine’ branches from dark green and cream tiny polka-dot papers - and daisy petals from white cardstock. (MS punches)

*  I added a bow of sheer yellow ribbon and Gems to the corners and daisy centers.

*  I used the oval that was cut from the frame center and stamped the ‘Birthday Wishes’ sentiment for the inside on it.
