I went down
into the garden of NUTS to see the fruits of the valley,
and to see whether the vine flourished
and the pomegranates budded.

Hello and Welcome!
I’m excited to be doing this, my second post in conjunction with a group
I recently connected with after I began using my new-last-summer Silhouette
CAMEO cutting machine. It’s a
monthly post to showcase projects that members of the Silhouette Challenge
Group have made using these wonderful machines. You'll find a list at the end here of those
who are participating this month, so you can visit them, also!
For this month’s project, I have chosen to showcase a
project I made as a Gift to someone Very Special in my life…a Blogging Buddy
over at ‘Just a Little Nutty’ blog!
( www.justalittlenutty.com ) Please
visit Meg sometime – and be cheered by her humorous insights on family, food
and life in general! She recently
celebrated her 2nd Blogiversary and since I’ve discovered that she lives about half an hour from me, I made this and drove up to spend an afternoon with her recently and give her this gift. I ‘took’ her logo from Online and cut it with my Silhouette CAMEO and SCAL3 program. I made an 8 x 10” Framed piece and an Easel Card, also.
I finished the Frame and decided to make an Easel Card to go
with it – I used the Logo as on
the Frame project and also a cutting fie from ‘MyPaperCrafting.com’ –
where I am currently on the Design Team.
(There are Lots of wonderful Cutting and Digital Files over there by
Melin – and several FREEBIES are offered weekly. Please check it out, if you have not!)

Here is the cutting file I used on this project –
It was fun to do a ‘personalized-special-to-order’ project for my friend, spend a lovely afternoon with her and I think I was an encouragement to her… What do You
do for Special Friends? Does your
CAMEO help You make lovely gifts?
Share them with me! ;-}

I love that we both shared gifts for friends this go around (handmade gifts are the best, aren't they?). This is simply beautiful work, Lynden! I'm sure your bloggy buddy so appreciated the time, effort, and talent you poured into this creation, and how you personalized it just for her. Did you feel you two connected in person as much as you did online? I have recently met up with a few bloggers in person, and it's so much fun to get to know them I.R.L. in addition to in blogland. Hopefully, we can share coffee conversation together someday!

Lauren
